Despite their severity, these human consequences, including job loss and forced migration, remain underreported.
Love Frankie launched a global digital campaign to spotlight these underreported stories, aiming to build a robust ecosystem around the intersection of climate and labour. We then hosted a dynamic regional dialogue, bringing together journalists, academics, NGOs, worker representatives, and business leaders. Over two days, they explored the impacts of the energy transition on labour rights, rising sea levels on coastal communities, and outdoor heat on public health.
Our campaign amplified the voices of those most affected by the climate crisis, raising awareness and understanding. The multi-stakeholder dialogue ignited critical discussions and paved the way for collaborative actions, ensuring these vital issues receive the attention and solutions they urgently need.
